💎💎💎 Hello, I hope you all have a beautiful day! I would like to introduce you my new project - ❤️ The healing power of Art ❤️.

Since the time we are born the world around us, the society, even the most loving & caring people- our parents & family- they all try to put us in the boxes, all kinds of limits are set, there is so much thing that we should, have or must do, that we often loose ourselves somewhere along the way, totally forgetting what we are, what we LOVE to do, remembering only what we HAVE to do. It also happened to me & I’m really grateful that I have realized it & found the information about how to change it because it was literally killing my soul. There are a few amazing books that offer a lot of things to think about & one of them I would highly recommend is “Women who run with wolves” by Clarissa Pinkola Estes. Among the other myths & stories she offers our attention is the one about little girl, Vasalisa, whose mother has died & she was living with a stepmother & stepsisters who hated her & wanted her to be dead. They had a perfect plan- sending Vasalisa in the woods in winter to get some firewood from an old witch (Baba Yaga), who lived in the darkest wood. Vasalisa had no choice & went to the woods, but what she secretly had on her was a tiny doll her mother gave her before mother’s death, saying: “No matter what happens in your life you should always, always listen to the doll & keep her deep down in your pockets so none would see her.” “Vasalisa replied innocently, well all right, yes, I’ll do that, and so she set out. The woods became darker and darker, and sticks cracked under her feet, frightening her. She reached down in the long deep pocket of her apron and there was the doll her dying mother had given her. And Vasalisa patted the doll in her pocket and said, just touching this doll, yes, I feel better. And at every fork in the road, Vasalisa reached into her pocket and consulted the doll. Well, should I go to the left or should I go to the right? The doll indicated Yes or No or This way, or That way. And Vasalisa fed the doll some of her bread as she walked and followed what she felt was emanating from the doll.” (C. P. Estes, “Women who run with wolves.”) What do you think this tiny dolly symbolizes? Our inner self, our intuition, that we actually listen to very rarely, we just can’t afford following our inner voice in this world of “should” & “must”. Unfortunately it makes us lives not our lives, fulfill somebody else’s dreams and never meet our souls. I have created this project with a lot of love so everyone who is willing to start changing something in their life could have that tiny dolly hidden deep in their pocket & a few times a day just take a second, stop, touch her & ask for advice. And then listen carefully to the tiny voice inside you & follow it ❤️ Each & every doll is absolutely unique, fully handmade using beautiful supplies that i get from my fellow artists, supporting them (from beautiful handmade and hand painted heads to hand dyed fabric). I also give them the vintage look that I absolutely love as well as retro style accessories 🥰 Thanks a lot for your time reading this 💗
